Daniel Drummond - Ivy Tech

Personal Bio

I am a graduate of Indiana University where I received my Bachelors Degree in 1971 with a Major in Health and Physical Education and a Minor in Political Science. While at I.U., I ran Track and played Soccer. In 1977, I received my Masters Degree at IU. I just recently retired from teaching at the public school level after 36 years. I taught 33 years in Seymour Community Schools. For 31 of my 36 years I taught Elementary Physical Education. The last five years I taught Health at Seymour Middle School along with teaching Technology classes to 6th graders. I was a Varsity Head Coach in Seymour for 23 years. During that time I coached Boys Gymnastic, Girls Gymnastic, and Boys Soccer. I enjoy golfing, working out, biking, doing stained glass, white water rafting, gardening, fishing, and doing activities with my family. I, also, am a ordained minister in the Church of God (Anderson). Along with my activities as a adjunct faculty at Ivy Tech Community College, I currently am working in Christian Education at the New Albany First Church of God on a part time basis.
